•Why the neighbourhood mattersFour variables
Two lawns four miles apart can need service at twice different rates.
- Elevation and windAnthem, Sun City Anthem, and MacDonald Highlands sit several hundred feet above the valley floor on open slopes. They take a substantially heavier wind-carried caliche load and their infill compacts faster.
- Shade and drying timeTurf that dries in ninety minutes is a different maintenance proposition from turf that stays damp all day. Shaded Whitney Ranch side yards, enclosed Tuscany courtyards, and anything near the water in Lake Las Vegas need sanitizing on a shorter cycle.
- HumidityLake Las Vegas has measurably higher ambient humidity than the rest of the city. Slower evaporation means mildew at the backing, which homeowners consistently misattribute to pets.
- Construction proximityCadence and the building phases of Inspirada generate heavy coarse grit that sits high in the infill. It extracts easily and returns fast, so interval matters more than intensity.
